This starter policy describes the intended IngreFit data flow. Replace the controller details and have counsel review it before release.
Data we process
Goals, diet preferences and scan history are stored locally by default. The server receives an installation identifier, selected goals, a device language tag and either a barcode or package images required for the requested analysis.
Package images
Label images are sent to the configured AI provider only to extract visible product facts and produce the requested result. Define and disclose your production retention period before launch.
Service providers
The backend may contact Open Food Facts, Google Gemini, hosting, quota storage and billing providers. Their terms and privacy practices also apply.
Your choices
Users can remove local history by clearing application data. Add account deletion and data-request contact workflows if user accounts are introduced.
